BEIJING -- The National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee on Wednesday began to review the implementation of the Vocational Education Law.
The inspection will enable NPC Standing Committee members to uncover any weaknesses or loopholes, said Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, at the first meeting of the inspection team.
Zhang urged lawmakers to gather information from the grass-roots level and to uncover the real problems.
He also said he expected them to undertake excellent research so as to analyze the situation and ensure suitable solutions.
Inspecting the implementation of the law is one of the duties of NPC Standing Committee and important to the overall supervision of the government.
