BEIJING -- The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) held a meeting of its Council of Chairpersons on Wednesday to hear reports on revisions of draft laws and a draft law amendment.

Li Zhanshu, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, presided over the meeting.

Li Fei, chairman of the NPC Constitution and Law Committee, presented reports on the revisions of a draft law on the promotion of family education, a draft law on land border, and a draft amendment to the Audit Law.

The meeting reviewed the aforementioned drafts and urged efforts to further solicit opinions to improve the drafts.
