China has made notable progress in the development of TCM with improved administration, a booming industry and better service capabilities. Wang said, adding that TCM has played a vital role in protecting people’s health and well-being, especially amid the fight against COVID-19.
At the meeting organized by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, he called for law-based approaches to advance the high-quality development of TCM and further integrating TCM with Western medicine.
He also urged more efforts to tackle problems and weak links in law enforcement, ensure equitable access to health services, expand the supply of quality services, and continue to modernize TCM.
