Padma Choling, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), led an inspection of the enforcement of the Foreign Investment Law in Central China's Henan province from July 11 to 13.

The inspection team of the NPC Standing Committee heard reports on the province's enforcement of the law and made field inspections in Shangqiu and Kaifeng.

Padma Choling gave a high recognition to the province's efforts and achievements in the law enforcement.

He also urged Henan to coordinate efforts for the promotion, protection and management of foreign investment and give full play to the role of foreign investments in maintaining economic stability. Endeavors should be made to resolve difficulties and problems to stimulate foreign investors' enthusiasm, he added.
