Shen Yueyue, vice-chairperson of China's National People's Congress Standing Committee and president of the All-China Women's Federation, met with Teresa Amarelle Boué, member of the Communist Party of Cuba's Political Bureau and secretary general of the Federation of Cuban Women, via video link on Jan 17.

Shen introduced the guiding principles of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and China's achievements in women's causes. The two sides held in-depth exchanges on implementing the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and enhancing women's friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
