Shohrat Zakir, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, met with an Algerian delegation of cadres led by the leader of the Algerian National Liberation Front and vice-president of the Algerian People's National  Assembly, on Oct 17 in Beijing.

The two sides exchanged views on deepening bilateral relations, promoting cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, and strengthening exchanges between their respective legislative bodies and political parties.
