Senior Chinese legislator presides over 5th meeting of China-Mongolia legislative exchange mechanism
On Jan 24, Peng Qinghua, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, presided over the fifth meeting of the China-Mongolia legislative exchange mechanism in Beijing. Lkhagva Munkhbaatar, vice-chairman of Mongolia's State Great Hural (Parliament), co-chaired the meeting.
The two sides exchanged views on issues including China-Mongolia relations, communication between the legislative bodies of the two countries, state governance, the economy, trade and investment, as well as green development.
