Tie Ning, vice-chairwoman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, attended a reception celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and seven Central and Eastern European countries in Beijing on Nov 29.

The reception was held by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Around 200 people, including diplomatic envoys from Bulgaria, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Albania and representatives from various sectors, were present at the event.
