Senior lawmakers hear reports on appointment, dismissal matters
BEIJING -- The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) on Tuesday held a chairpersons' meeting to hear reports on appointment and dismissals.
Li Zhanshu, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, presided over the meeting.
Xin Chunying, deputy secretary-general of the NPC Standing Committee, briefed the meeting on newly added appointment and dismissal matters.
The reports will be submitted for review at the ongoing session of the NPC Standing Committee, scheduled to conclude Saturday.
