Peng Qinghua, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China’s National People's Congress, met with a delegation led by Fikile Mbalula, secretary general of the African National Congress (ANC) of South Africa, at the Great Hall of the People on June 6.

Both sides spoke positively of the friendly and cooperative relationship between the Communist Party of China and the ANC as well as between the two countries and pledged to further consolidate political mutual trust and promote mutually-beneficial cooperation. They also held in-depth exchanges on strengthening party building.
