Palestine-Israel conflict a tragedy, disgrace

It's "a tragedy for humanity and a disgrace for civilization" that the humanitarian disaster caused by the Palestine-Israel conflict fails to end, Wang Yi said, urging the international community to act for an immediate ceasefire. 

On hotspot issues

China has found the Chinese way to address hotspot issues featuring commitments to non-interference in internal affairs, to political settlement, to objectivity and impartiality, and a commitment to addressing both symptoms and root causes. 

On China-EU relations

China and the European Union should be characterized as partners with cooperation being the defining feature, autonomy being the key value and win-win outcomes being the future of the relationship. 

Peaceful reunification with Taiwan

"Our policy is quite clear — we will continue to strive for peaceful reunification with the greatest sincerity. Our bottom line is also quite clear — we will never allow Taiwan to be separated from the motherland." 

On neighborhood diplomacy

The five principles, though born in Asia, have transcended differences in social systems and ideology and are contributing the wisdom of the East in handling state-to-state relations. 

On Ukraine crisis

China supports holding an international peace conference that is recognized by both Russia and Ukraine in due course. The conference should ensure the participation of all parties and fair discussions on all peace plans.
