Senior Chinese legislator meets with former Latvian president
Zhang Qingwei, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, held a meeting with a delegation led by former Latvian president Andris Berzins in Beijing on May 21. The delegation is visiting China at the invitation of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, China-Latvia relations, China-Europe relations and China's economic and social development were discussed.
