Senior Chinese legislator meets with Lao delegation
On Aug 19, Xiao Jie, vice-chairman of China’s National People's Congress Standing Committee, met in Beijing with a delegation from the Planning, Finance and Audit Committee of the National Assembly of Laos, which is led by Liber Libuapao, chairman of the committee.
They discussed issues including strengthening strategic mutual trust, promoting exchanges and cooperation between legislative bodies of the two countries and budget review and oversight.
