A farmer in top legislature: Democracy that grows from the soil
The annual national two sessions are often seen as a grand political gathering. But for those who take a closer look, they offer something more: a window into understanding China's whole-process people's democracy.
And this year, as always, that democracy walks through the doors of the Great Hall of the People via ordinary people: farmers, workers, village teachers, and rural doctors.
