NPC deputy pursues aircraft innovation
Shan Xiaoming, chief designer at the AECC Hunan Aviation Powerplant Research Institute and a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress, has told China Daily that her institute plans to pursue airworthiness certification work on two engine models designed for general aviation aircraft, while also launching multiple new engines.
