Senior Chinese legislator meets with European Parliament vice-president
On April 21, Xiao Jie, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, met in Beijing with Vice-President of the European Parliament Younous Omarjee, who is visiting China upon invitation.
The two parties exchanged views on promoting the sound and stable development of China-EU relations, strengthening their economic and trade cooperation and enhancing exchanges between legislative bodies.
