Official pledges allegiance to Constitution
An official took an oath of allegiance to the Constitution at a ceremony held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on April 30, following the conclusion of the 22nd session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee. Li Hongzhong, vice-chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, presided over the ceremony.
The official is Zhang Chengzhong, who was appointed as minister of emergency management at the session.
