Senior Chinese legislator meets with delegation from Central American Parliament
He Wei, vice-chairman of China’s National People's Congress Standing Committee, met with a multi-party delegation from the Central American Parliament led by its vice-president, Donald Calderon, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on May 8.
The two sides exchanged views on relations between China and Central American countries as well as inter-parliamentary interactions. He Wei also briefed the delegation on the outline of China's 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) for national economic and social development.
