China held a massive military parade in central Beijing on September 3 to mark the 80th anniversary of its victory in World War II, pledging the country's commitment to peaceful development in a world still fraught with turbulence and uncertainties.

    Launched in August 2007, the journal is issued four times a year.

    Under the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the journal provides coverage of the overall priority of the Party and the country, as well as the work of the Congress and its Standing Committee. It is committed to telling well China's story and the country's whole-process people's democracy to the world.
